Teacher Assistant/Paraprofessional
This course is designed to assist high school graduate students to become effective paraprofessionals. The course will explore the proper techniques to assure a productive relationship between the teacher aide, the teacher, and the student in the classes taught by the teacher and assisted by the aide. This class prepares students to take the Paraprofessional Exam as a culminating activity. Students will have theory and classroom experience prior to taking the paraprofessional exam.
